Touloisirs is a non-profit organisation specialising in accessible travel and leisure experiences. Their existing platform had grown organically, resulting in inconsistent flows, cluttered navigation and a fragmented user experience.
From 2019 to 2025 onward I worked as the sole product designer) to overhaul the booking platform for both mobile and desktop, the BtoB portal, their internal admin tool and corporate website for 2 brands - designing over 120 screens and iterating continuously to support evolving user needs, client demands and brand refreshes.

The Touloisirs platform faced multiple pressures:

  • Business: Support scalable growth and deliver a polished brand experience for users with diverse accessibility needs.

  • Admins/Operators: Manage a large catalogue of travel/leisure offers across multiple devices, while ensuring smooth bookings and user account management.

  • End Users: Many users found the navigation confusing, booking flows too long, and account management cumbersome - especially on mobile.


    Thesis: Make the booking journey simple, intuitive and accessible across devices — reduce friction, increase engagement and deliver brand trust.

To tackle the challenge, the process included:

  • Conducted market & competitor research to benchmark accessible travel/leisure platforms and booking flows.

  • Redesigned site architecture: introduced streamlined navigation with clear primary sections (Search, Offers, Profile), sticky menus and contextual access.

  • Designed a mobile-first responsive system and mirrored it for desktop, ensuring parity of experience across devices.

  • Created wireframes and interactive prototypes (for both mobile and desktop) to validate flows for accounts, bookings, and user management.

  • Iterated based on usability testing and user feedback - simplified booking cards, improved visual contrast for accessibility, added tooltips and inline guidance.

  • Developed a design system and component library to support scalability (over 120 screens) and future feature expansion.
